How to make a reservation?
In order to book an excursion or a walk, please access the calendar, choose the date you would like to do it, and follow all the steps. If there are any issues, you can make the booking via email or WhatsApp.
For other activities or services, please contact us by email or WhatsApp to make a pre-booking. After our confirmation it is necessary that you make the payment for the reservation to be validated.
How to pay the Deposit?
Payment can be made by Credit Card, Paypal or Bank transfer.
How can I cancel an activity?
To cancel an activity, you have to proceed via email or WhatsApp. In order to be fully refunded, the cancellation must be made up to 24 hours before the beginning of the activity.
Can anyone do the activities promoted by BEST OF MADEIRA?
Yes, as long as you do not present impediments to the practice of physical activities. However, to do the walks, canyoning, climbing and other physical activities, you must consider the difficulty degree, so that you are able to do these and enjoy yourself.
What is included in the price of the activity?
The price includes the activity and Personal and Liability Accident Insurance (according to Portuguese law).
Excursions – include a certified tour driver and it is advisable to bring comfortable clothes and shoes, as well as a jacket and sunscreen.
Walks – include a certified mountain guide and you should bring comfortable hiking shoes, waterproof jacket, food, water, sunscreen, hat or cap, extra jacket, gloves and a flashlight.
Canyoning, Boat Trips, SUP, SURF – you should bring a towel, bathing suit, sport shoes to get wet and a change of clothes.
For other activities, we will inform all that you need to take with you once the booking is made.
What happens in case of bad weather or if the activity does not take place?
In case of bad weather, BEST OF MADEIRA has the right to cancel the activity or change the itinerary. The BEST OF MADEIRA team will decide whether the activity will be cancelled or not. If you decide not to attend the activity without having previously notified the company within the stipulated period, you will not be refunded, even without having done the activity.
Is it possible to do the activity privately?

Where should I go to be picked up?
When you make the booking, you should inform us which hotel you are staying at and your room number, so that we can pick you up from there or somewhere nearby.
We do not charge any extras to pick up clients in Funchal and Câmara de Lobos. For the rest of the island the price can have a slight increase.
